The Ontario Provincial Police are requesting the public's assistance in solving a theft over $5,000.
Sometime between October 1st, 2007 and December 17th, 2007 unknown person(s) entered a commercial business located in the township of Tehkummah on Manitoulin Island.
The suspect(s) entered a fenced compound and removed a large quantity of plastic coated 1" copper wire from several spools.
The wire is readily identifiable by the stamped code numbers:

BJMB200-24
BHAF50-22
BKMB100-24
BJBF50-19
BJAB100-22
BHAB50-22
The estimated weight of the copper wire that was stolen is 15,000 lbs and the value exceeds $19,000.
