• Educate all employees on company policy and appropriate actions to be taken as well as signs of domestic violence and resources for victims
• If an employee reveals domestic violence, develop a safety plan to ensure they are protected while at work
• Provide information about company and/or community resources
• Suggest the employee have the workplace included on restraining orders
• With the victim’s permission provide the abuser’s picture to security staff
• Consider temporarily relocating the employee within the workplace and allow for a flexible work schedule to make their day less predictable
