Dr. Rayudu Koka, a local psychiatrist has been   elected President of the Council of the College of   Physicians and Surgeons, an organization which   regulates the practice of medicine in Ontario.

 

  Besides maintaining a local practice, Dr. Koka serves   as an Associate Professor at the Northern Ontario   School of Medicine and at the University of Western Ontario. He sits on the Boards of Sudbury Regional Hospitals and Laurentian University and is Chair of the Greater Sudbury Police Services Board.

 

Dr. Koka and his wife Rajini have two sons, both of whom are following their Father’s career path in family medicine.

 

We congratulate Dr. Koka on his new role. Sudbury is very fortunate to have the Koka family in our community.
