The Greater Sudbury Police Service is seeking the public's assistance in solving a break, enter and theft.
On Monday, July 19th, 2010 an Alberta resident parked a 21' travel trailer in the Walmart parking lot located on Long Lake Road. Between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. the trailer was left unattended while the owner was visiting a relative who resides in the area.
Upon returning to the trailer, the owner found that it had been broken into and a number of articles had been taken including several prescription medications, collectible knives and two paintings. The items have great sentimental value to the owner and are valued at over $10,000.
One of the stolen medications had been prescribed for a heart condition and could have serious side effects if taken.
