The Ontario Provincial Police is seeking the public's assistance in solving a theft.
Sometime between February 27th, 2011 and March 19th, 2011 unknown person(s) attended the parking lot of Lang Lake Lodge located on Lang Lake Road, Curtin Township and stole a 1993 Ski Doo Mach Z, black in colour, valued at $2,500. The snowmobile was chained to a tree and locked, it was also equipped with a track lock and throttle lock. In its place, culprit(s) left a 1991 Ski Doo, black in colour. Investigation revealed the 1991 Ski Doo had been sold approximately one month ago to an unknown suspect.
The investigation is continuing. If anyone has any information regarding the person(s) responsible for this theft or any other crime should immediately contact the Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
