The Greater Sudbury Police Service launched the "Shop with a Cop" Program in Sudbury with a kick off breakfast at Pat and Mario's on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008.

A number of officers from the Greater Sudbury Police Service have volunteered their time and will be paired up with children who have been selected to participate in a festive season shoping extravaganza.

The Program is designed to link Police Officers with children, their families and the community in an endeavour to create positive relationships.

"Show with a Cop" has become a reality through moneys received from the community in support of the Chief's Youth Initiative Fund.
