Each year the Lion's Club of Little Current organizes Haweater Weekend; a weekend of family fun, concerts, craft shows, parade, fireworks and more.

On Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 Crime Stoppers participated in Haweater Weekend on Manitoulin Island.

Crime Stoppers Police Coordinators were on hand to talk with members of the community to explain how Crime Stoppers works and answer questions.
