Make a donation to Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers

Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers wishes to thank   everyone who participated in their 9th Annual Tri-Force   Regimental Charity Ball. This premiere black tie   fundraising event was held on Saturday, February 2nd,   2008 at the Radisson Hotel.

VIPs from the Greater Sudbury Police Service,   Ontario Provincial Police and RCMP were all on hand   in number one dress uniform along with many of   the community’s finest in formal dress.  Also in   attendance was Gary Murphy, President of Crime   Stoppers International.

Piper Mary MacKenzie ushered the VIPs into the event. Rich from EZRock 105.3 FM and Reverend Jeremy Mahood reprised their roles as Masters of Ceremony and provided an entertaining evening for all. Guests were treated to a sumptuous five course meal with complementary wine and two host bars, and danced the night away to the music of Sudbury’s own “Frontline”.  Local musician Sarah Craig provided dinner music.

The evening included silent, live and secret auctions featuring exceptional high end items donated by generous businesses.  Again this year, the Tri-Force Regimental Charity Ball held the popular Treasure Chest Key Draw with the 3 chests having a combined value of over $3,000.00.

A special thank you goes out to the Greater Sudbury Police Auxiliary and Ontario Provincial Police Auxiliary for shuttling guests to and from the event as well as assisting with a number of activities throughout the evening.  Cambrian College Criminal Justice Association and the Cadets from 200 Wolf Squadron Air Cadets, 2912 Sudbury Irish Royal Canadian Army Cadets Corp and #134 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corp, Admiral Mountbatten were on hand to assist throughout the evening as well.

To commemorate the evening all guests were given a professional portrait by Gladu Photography.
