The Canadian Cancer Society and Cambrian College Police Foundation students held the annual Teddy Bear Picnic on Sunday, November 22nd, 2009. This event assists the Canadian Cancer Society to raise research dollars for pediatric cancer.
More than 100 bears were donated by local organizations and individuals for a silent and live auction.
Also on November 22nd, 2009 the A&W restaurant on Lasalle Blvd and in the New Sudbury Centre will donated $1.00 from every Teen Burger sold to the fundraiser.
Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers was a proud participant in this event.
