On February 11th, 2008 Dr. Koka,   Chairman of the Greater Sudbury   Police Services Board and Marc   Bidal, President of Sudbury Rainbow   Crime Stoppers signed an agreement   outlining the relationship between the   two partners.

  Sudbury Rainbow Crime Stoppers is   a non-profit registered organization governed by a board of directors which is comprised of citizen volunteers.  It is a completely separate entity from any law enforcement agency and is governed by its own constitution and bylaws.

The organization is a partnership of the public, the police and the media which provides the community with a proactive program for people to anonymously assist in the solving of crime and contribute to an improved quality of life in our community.
