DO NOT tell anyone that you have called Crime Stoppers. The only way to truly remain anonymous is to not reveal to ANYONE that you have called Crime Stoppers.

DO NOT volunteer your name. You will not be asked for it.

A code number will be issued to you. It should be treated like the PIN on your bank card - you need to know it but no one else should. Keep your code number somewhere where no one else will find it and when you contact us, use that code number to identify yourself.

Remember that Crime Stoppers does not subscribe to call display and your call will not be traced. Your IP address is not available to us.

Whether you call, submit a tip online or text your tip you will remain completely anonymous. With online tips and texting we are able to ask follow up questions or clarify information. If you use these methods to give us information don't be surprised if we post a question back to you through our secure servers.

You do not have to wait for a conviction to cash in on your call. Crime Stoppers pays on the arrest or charge or on the recovery of drugs and/or stolen property.

If you choose to deal directly with the police regarding the case that you initially contacted Crime Stoppers about, you are no longer a part of the Crime Stoppers Program and will not be eligible for a reward through Crime Stoppers as you are no longer anonymous.
You will never be identified.
You do not have to provide a name,
phone number or email address.
Your IP address will not be available to us.
You will never have to testify in court.
You could receive a cash reward of up to $2,000 upon an arrest or recovery of property or narcotics. |
